The Cougie: Most Timeless Actress
-
Meryl Streep proves that a leading lady’s career in major motion pictures does not have to slide downhill when she turns 40—or 50—or 60. Streep picked up a pair of Golden Globe nominations this week for her roles in “Julie and Julia” and “It’s Complicated.”
She’s practically guaranteed another Oscar nod—her 16th—for one or both of these films. The unstoppable Streep is the Katherine Hepburn of her generation, and we’re proud to honor her with a Cougie!

I love Meryl Streep. I believe I’ve seen everything she’s done except Mama Mia, and only because I just wasn’t in the mood for a musical when it came out.
Congrats Meryl. You’ve got my vote!

What a wonderful example of graceful aging. Still sexy and vibrant. I agree with this one.
