Have Some Fun!

Life is a series of moments strung together only by memories. It’s your responsibility as a fabulous, assertive Cougar to devote some of these life moments to wild abandonment and hedonistic fun. Memories are waiting to be made. The old adage certifies that trouble comes by “himself”, uninvited and with a vengeance. Fun, she… must be cultivated and sought out.No one plans on the bad stuff, but trouble rears ‘his “ugly head much too often. We usually don’t have much control over trouble….but fun; ladies that’s something that can be controlled, invented, inspired, designed, and premeditated. Fun is a tiny tingly word..but it’s packed with light headedness, freedom, exhilaration, long breaths, laughter, joy, and everything that makes life worthwhile. Haven’t had much fun lately? Inundated by trouble? Get out of the way and make room for fun. Seek and ye shall find places where fun and laughter abound.
Make your life a vacation. Use those escapist principles. Treat yourself to something decadent, delirious, delicious and almost illegal very very often. Oh, go on, no one will find out and the Fun Police aren’t that organized or spontaneous…you could get away with it. Just do it and then do it again if you really like it. We all have those wonderful little encumbrances of life. Like work, kids, husbands, parents, debts, aching joints, aching arches, sagging boobs and asses, and blah blah blah…none of this bad stuff is going away. They will all be there when you get emotionally and physically back. All these troubles will all be there tomorrow waiting patiently to annoy, wreck havoc and make you utterly miserable….but not today….not the moments that you want to make memories of. Do not procrastinate, delay, or postpone fun and pleasure. Go out and get an ice cream sundae, real buttered popcorn, and some red balloons. Go sit on a park bench and practice having fun. It sounds ridiculous, deal with it and do it anyway. Fun needs practice and nourishment. It is not spontaneous or easy to come by after the innocence of childhood. Revel in sunshine, smile with the movement of the wind, tap your toes to the music that life makes, or the music in your head and then get up and dance. No one is looking, so dance like you mean it and make some gorgeous happy moments for yourself. Life shouldn’t be taken seriously. The crazy truth has finally surfaced, that no one ever gets out alive! Use very minute, every second, to make those memories that count! Walk in puddles simply because they dry up so quickly, skip to an eccentric new beat, and dance on your tiptoes just because you can. There will be a time you won’t be so light on your feet. Sing a song…there will be time you won’t remember the words…make those memories. Have some fun!

Lately a lot of famous married men seem to be stepping out on their wives—and getting caught. The main reason they get caught is that the women they’re cheating with rat them out to the press. Who know why guys like Tiger Woods, Jesse James and David Boreanaz have steak at home, but insist on going out for dogburgers? But the motives of their consorts are pretty obvious—fame and money. The press insists on referring to these women as “mistresses.”
In days of old, a “mistress” was a woman who was “kept” by a married man, often a wealthy one. The “other woman” respected her man’s wife and family, and in return for being supported in style, she kept her mouth shut. The wife often knew about the mistress, but as long as she had the name, the house and the children, she also stayed quiet. Obviously, the new breed of “mistress” has little in common with her classier forerunners.
There are better terms to describe the strippers, nightclub hostesses, cocktail waitresses and porn stars who’ve mined their indiscretions for big bucks payoffs—like hooker, whore, skank and slut. I wish the media would stop honoring these calculating bimbos with the term “mistress” and call them what they really are.

It’s so easy to forget how much fun you had in High School or even in your 20’s. Why do we forget how to just relax and have fun for the sake of having fun.
I love to look back at the pictures of me and my friends and remember the fun crazy days we had…it just inspires us to put our everyday lives on hold and take a day and have FUN again. It’s so much better, we actually have money now to have fun.

Absolutely on point! We all need much more fun in this world. Seems like nowadays all that surrounds us is bad news and crap. Heck, even yale can’t beat the horrors of this world! But fun can be controlled you’re right, I’m calling melissa I wanna party! Wanna come?

Great advice, we are all entitled to have fun. Its a inteteresting idea to actually make a commintment and schedule it into our lives. Our families will benefit too, because if we are happy, we are more energized in all the duties we have to do. Also fun is contagious!!
