The Importance of Being an Assertive, Positive Cougar

Good girls go to heaven and bad girls go everywhere”. Make a choice. Be a good girl and go directly to heaven or be a bad girl with an assertive attitude and go absolutely everywhere. Being good and sweet never got a woman anywhere. The adjective itself is mundane, mind-numbing, and stupid. Good has nowhere to go, and it never went anywhere of any consequence. If you want to be good stay in the kitchen barefoot. If you want to be bad (and who doesn’t) put on those dripping with sex Manolo Blahnik spike heels with rhinestones and get out and kick some ass. There has never, ever been any ass kicking in bare feet. Look it up on Google if you don’t believe me. Nothing has ever happened to a woman of any consequence in bare feet. Bare other things and something might happen. In fact, shoes were created just for the purpose of going places and making statements and (you thought they were just for walking!) If you want to make it in life you have to go everywhere and have an attitude. The “goody two shoes” are barefoot in some kitchen somewhere.

Once you’ve decided to become that assertive, positive Cougar..there is no looking back, no regrets, and no apologies. Being apologetic is a sorry state of being and you are not a citizen of that state any longer. As this wonderful new Cougar you will be going everywhere…not running mind you….those stilettos can be precarious…..but they are oh, so worth it. Being a little bad is good for the soul (sole), good for the arch, and everyone around you.

Becoming an assertive woman is like learning a new language, moving to a new state of being, and a new way of thinking. You will need new words, new self image, and new ideas. Let go of that mold that most people want to shove women into. We know that we are the superior sex and they secretly know it too. Go places you’ve never gone before and never set limits for yourself!
